Abigail Oleck Hewett has been an invaluable member of our team at The Lightwell (HTB Church Knightsbridge) since May 2024. Abi offers deluxe facials on a weekly basis, transforming our space into the most therapeutic, relaxing, and beautiful environment imaginable. Each week, she blesses 4 to 6 women with life-giving treatments. Many of the women accessing The Lightwell are survivors of trauma or have challenging life circumstances. Abi creates a restorative experience that leaves our women feeling renewed and rejuvenated. She offers all her treatments on a voluntary basis and has also developed a regifting initiative, where we can offer new clothes and styling advice to our women. This initiative has been hugely beneficial, particularly towards the end of last year, our women felt like Christmas had always come early. Abi treats every person with genuine care and respect, which helps our women who join The Lightwell feel dignity and worth. We are hugely grateful for all that Abi is and does for our women's space. I believe her model of therapists offering support on a voluntary basis is incredibly valuable to society, providing treatments to those who might otherwise find them unobtainable. Additionally, the simple act of positive touch for those who have experienced abuse is incredibly healing. The regifting service is also an amazing opportunity to redistribute high-quality fashion items to those who need them most. Thank you, Abi, for making such a difference
