Strenthening Movement: Coming Home To Your
Mind-Heart-Body-Soul Connection

We’re excited to be developing our new Sports Movement Project at Your True Reflection CIC, with Anna leading the sessions.

A huge thank you to everyone in our community who has completed our surveys. Your feedback is helping us shape this project around what women genuinely want and need.

Movement is transformation — shaping and being shaped.

Anna’s Strengthening Movement sessions will combine a gentle Pilates-style workout with strengthening movement, creating a supportive space for women to reconnect with their mind, heart, body and soul.

This isn’t about how your body looks or how fit you are. It’s about discovering what your body can do, rebuilding confidence and strength, and developing a more positive connection with movement.

Through gentle, accessible workouts, the project will encourage women to reconnect with their bodies, develop strength and mobility, release tension, improve wellbeing and experience the positive connection between movement and emotional healing.

Designed particularly with women recovering from trauma in mind, everyone will be encouraged to work at their own pace in a welcoming, non-judgemental environment.

Our Community Survey

Before developing the Sports Movement Project, we asked women in our community to tell us about their current levels of exercise, the barriers they face and what they would like from the project.

Their responses are helping us create accessible, supportive sessions that reflect what women genuinely want and need. The results below highlight some of the key findings from our survey.

72% Exercise Less Than 30 Minutes a Week

Our survey found that 72% of women currently exercise for less than 30 minutes a week, highlighting the need for accessible and supportive opportunities to get moving.
