Our Beauty Workshops by Abi Founder Your True Reflection: Restoring Confidence Through Care
The Beauty Workshops initiative by Your True Reflection is a sanctuary of healing, transformation, and empowerment. Founded by Abi (Abigail Oleck Hewett), an advocate for women’s well-being, this initiative provides complimentary facials to women who have faced domestic abuse, trauma, and personal hardship. Recognising the profound connection between inner healing and outer self-care, Abi and her team create a safe, nurturing environment where women can relax, restore their confidence, and feel truly valued. Every facial is more than just a treatment; it’s a moment of care, where each woman is reminded of her worth and beauty beyond her past experiences.
Every treatment is delivered by a team of compassionate, highly skilled professionals trained in holistic facials. Their techniques go beyond surface-level beauty, incorporating relaxation methods, lymphatic drainage, sculpting techniques, and deep tissue facial massage to release tension and promote emotional well-being. The experience is tailored to each woman’s needs, ensuring she leaves feeling not only refreshed but also uplifted. The team understands that healing takes time, and by offering these treatments, they aim to provide a sense of peace, and self-care to those who need it most.
The Your True Reflection initiative is built on the belief that beauty and wellness should be accessible to all women, regardless of their circumstances. Many of the women who participate in these Beauty Workshops are survivors rebuilding their lives, often transitioning from shelters or escaping difficult situations. Abi and her team ensure that every client is treated with dignity, kindness, and respect, offering not just facials but a listening ear, encouragement, and a reminder that they are not alone. The initiative also connects women with support networks, employment opportunities, and wellness resources, helping them take steps toward rebuilding their confidence and independence.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to the National Lottery for sponsoring us and more importantly, believing in us.
